Prior to setting up Peoplescient, Rambir was the National Lead in KPMG India and BSR & Co. LLP for their Provident Funds, Pensions and Social Security Practice. Rambir is also a former Regional PF Commissioner and worked with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) for almost 14 years.
Rambir has written extensively on social security policy issues in print and electronic media. While he was at KPMG, he contributed to the thought leadership publication, Employee Pensions in India: Issues, challenges and prospects. Rambir is a regular speaker at EPFO National Academy and other national and international forums.
Rambir is an alumnus of National University of Singapore, Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, Delhi School of Economics, Institute of Social Studies (Netherlands) and DCR University of Science and Technology (earlier CR State College of Engineering). Rambir is a recipient of the Lee Kuan Yew Graduate Scholarship from the Singapore Government and the Netherlands Fellowship Programme Scholarship from the Netherlands Government.
